Description: This course is designed to develop knowledge and skills pertaining to the nutrition, reproduction, health, and management of horses. Students identify breeds, colors, and markings of horses, evaluate confirmation and performance, develop feed rations, analyze internal and external anatomies, review basic grooming and health practices, and address training and handling practices.
