Description:  Art I is a comprehensive course that provides students with introductory experiences in expressing himself inventively and imaginatively through a variety of art experiences, media, techniques and vocabulary.  Emphasis is placed on the elements and principles of design.  The class is designed to help students understand and appreciate artworks, both past and present, and the vital contribution these artworks have made to society.
