Description:  Sculpture III extends students' artistic understanding and experiences as introduced in Sculpture II.  Emphasis will be placed on the advanced development of compositional skills and imaginative use of the elements and principles of design.  The class is designed to strengthen students' three-dimensional and spatial skills.  Students will experiment with a variety of sculpting materials, tools, and subjects to develop artworks that express students' advanced personal styles and concepts.  Ancient and contemporary sculptures will be studied.
