Description: Creative and Imaginative Writing is a rigorous composition course, requiring students to demonstrate their skills in such forms of writing as essays, short stories, poetry and drama. Through the process of self-evaluation and constructive criticism, students completing this course are able to analyze and discuss published and unpublished pieces of writing, and set personal goals as a writer. Students participating in the class have the option of publishing a literary magazine as one of their program objectives.
