Description: This is an introductory journalism course offering an overview of how media functions in society.  Besides offering the basics of newspaper/yearbook/magazine production, this course offers the students an opportunity to write stories which are submitted for publication in the school newspaper.  Writing, technology, visual and electronic media are used as tools for learning as students create, clarify, critique, write, and reproduce effective communication.
