Description:  Reading offers students instruction in word recognition, vocabulary building,and comprehension strategies in order to ensure high school students have an opportunity to read with competence, confidence and understanding. As a reading program, this course may use microcomputer software to give students the opportunity to read criticaly, to evaluate sources, and to draw supportable conclussions.
