Description: Shakespearean Studies is a one semester elective credit course offering a literary overview and analysis of some of Shakespeare's plays.  Study will include the playwright's background, the play's historical background, the play's content, the play's dramatic form, and the play's societal impact.  The objective of the course is to acquaint students with a variety of Shakespeare's plays in tragedy and comedy.
