Description: This semester-long course extends upon concepts and skills from Algebra II and prepares students to pass the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) or other college mathematics placement test required for college Algebra.This course will include the study of linear and quadratic functions, polynomial functions, inequalities, transformations of functions, exponents and logarithms, conic sections, and trigonometry functions, and sequence and series. This course will not count as one of the required math credits for high school graduation.
