Description: This course addresses foundation concepts for high school mathematics including algebraic thinking and symbolizing reasoning, function concepts, and relationships between equations and functions. It also incorporates underlying mathematical process including computation and problem-solving, comunication and representation af mathmatical concepts, and applications and connections to other disciplines. This course will address a variety of algebraic concepts through the use of manipulitives and technology, such as computers and graphing calculators, in order to help students gain a more meaningful understanding of these concepts.
