Description: This course, for local elective credit, addresses foundation concepts for high school mathematics including algebraic thinking and reasoning, algebraic representation, and the relationship between algebra and other mathematics, and other disciplines.  Hands-on activities, computers, and graphing calculators are utilized to illustrate and reinforce algebraic concepts.  Additionally, this course will address Exit TAAS II objectives for students who did not pass TAAS in 8th Grade.
