Grade Levels: 9-12

Description: This course addresses concepts and skills including use of symbolic reasoning and analytical methods for representing mathematical situations, expression of generalizations, and the study of mathematical concepts and the relationships among them. Functions, equations, and limits will be used as tools for making generalizations, and for analyzing and understanding a broad variety of mathematical relationships. Functions, as well as symbolic reasoning, will be used to represent and connect ideas in geometry, probability, statistics, trigonometry and calculus, and to model physical situations. The use of models and technology will be integrated throughout the course.
