Description: In World History Studies for English Language Learners, students study the following areas: development of early civilization; historical development of Western civilization; historical development of other areas, including Russia, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Meso America; geographic religious influences on world history; and world development in the twentieth century. This course is designed specifically for speakers of other languages with limited English proficiency and will be taught with English as a second language methodology.
